Do you also sometimes feel like the watch industry is spinning in circles? That's why Frederique Constant decided to change that! Re-launching the Manchette model, which has not appeared in the collection for more than 20 years, the Geneva Manufacture offers a glam rock interpretation of this wristwatch. It features an attractive, sophisticated bracelet decorated with the Clou de Paris motif, whose characteristic square shape is repeated on the dial, which is also square and is available in four versions to suit everyone's taste: a version with precious stones, two versions with decorative minerals (malachite and onyx) and a version in brushed steel.

Manchette is one of the most symbolic accessories of the 1980s. This iconic creation, reflecting an era of bold and daring events, became the embodiment of a free, unconventional approach to watchmaking. This is not a story of high complexity or exclusivity. On the contrary, it is a story of lightness and creative daring. Not about the fundamental, but about an accessory. Not about traditions, but about rebellion against them. The spirit of the times and the approach to life and fashion that Frederique Constant revived in the early 2000s.
Today, the Manchette returns to the collection called Classics Manchette. First and foremost, it is a bracelet that tells the time. Flexible and mobile, it has seven links. To withstand the energetic atmosphere of the dance floor, it is securely attached to the wrist with an integrated and therefore invisible clasp.
Style comes first. Frederique Constant has not deviated from this rule in the new model. It is scattered with countless shiny, polished Clou de Paris squares, while the top of each section is decorated with a matte finish. In the center of the watch is a discreet malachite dial, on which only the hour and minute hands are located.
The new model, with its smooth steel shine, is reflected by a matte white dial with Roman numerals, which is closer to the canons of the watch. Each model is equipped with the same quartz caliber FC-200, which guarantees 60 months of autonomous operation - five whole years of glam rock rhythms! Time to shine!
