  • 23rd of March 1994 – the foundation of company “RIPPOL”

    • delegation of company “RIPPOL” visited the international watch exhibition “BASELWORLD” for a first time;

    • start of cooperation with watch company “RAYMOND WEIL”;

    • start of cooperation with watch company “SEIKO WATCH CORPORATION”;

    • opening of salon “Il Tempo di Moda” in shopping centre “Domina Shopping” in September 2003;

    • new direction is opened. Assortment of “LAIKS” and “Il Tempo di Moda” watch salons is supplemented by exclusive jewellery collections;

    • company “RIPPOL” receives a title “Distributor of the year” from company “SEIKO WATCH CORPORATION”;

    • opening of salon “Il Tempo di Moda” in shopping centre “Centrs”;

    • start of cooperation with watch company “PERRELET”;

      

    2007

     

    • company “RIPPOL” becomes the official distributor of “FREDERIQUE CONSTANT” watches in Latvia;

    • presentation of exclusive products of Swiss jewellery House “FURRER JACOT” in July 2007;

    • start of cooperation with watch company “Montres LOUIS ERARD S.A.”. Company “RIPPOL” becomes the official distributor of “LOUIS ERARD” watches in Latvia;

     

    2010

     

    • new design of “LAIKS” has been worked out. Exclusive combination of valuable wood adds to outlook the notes of respectability and strict elegance;

    • opening of salon “LAIKS” in shopping centre “Galleria Riga” in November 2010;

    • start of cooperation with watch company “TAG HEUER”;

    • company “RIPPOL” receives a title “Distributor of the year” from company “SEIKO WATCH CORPORATION”;

    • renewed interior of salon “LAIKS” in shopping centre “Domina Shopping”;

    • start of cooperation with French House “S.T.Dupont”;

     

    2013

     

    • company “RIPPOL” becomes the official distributor of “ORIS” watches in Latvia;

    • our team in cooperation with best Latvian designers has opened the new color code! The new concept has been introduced – salons “Laiks Avenue”;

    -opening of salon “Laiks Avenue” in shopping centre “Origo” in April 2013;

    • opening of salon “Laiks Avenue” in shopping centre “Galleria Riga” in June 2013;

    • new name of salon “Laiks de Luxe” in shopping centre “Galleria Riga” in September 2013;

     

    2014

     

    • start of cooperation with watch company “Baume & Mercier”;

    • start of cooperation with company “Montegrappa”.

     

    2015

     

    • As part of the worldwide presentation, RIPPOL presented Frédérique Constant, Swiss Horological Smartwatch in Latvia! A sensation in the world of watchmaking! Classic Swiss watches + modern technologies! New generation smart watch.

    • The first LaiksWatches.lv Open 2015 golf tournament was held in cooperation with Ozo Golf Club.

     
    2016

      
    • March 2016 – the opening of the largest jewelry & watch store in the Baltics "LAIKS de Luxe" in the "Galleria Riga" shopping center.

    • The second LaiksWatches.lv Open 2016 golf tournament was held in cooperation with Ozo Golf Club.

    • The beginning of cooperation with the Kieninger company. Interior clocks of the German brand "Kieninger" are the embodiment of strict elegance and reliability. Almost 100 years of experience and traditions of the company, the usage of unique technologies and careful selection of decorative materials are a guarantee of the high quality of these watches.

    • October 2016 – the opening of "LAIKS" jewelry & watch store in "STOCKMANN" department store.

    • The beginning of cooperation with PAUL HEWITT watch company. RIPPOL company has become an official distributor of PAUL HEWITT watches in Latvia. Paul Hewitt watches are moments of life and memories, their own for each, but everyone of us loves the sea and relaxation, so it is the breath of the sea breeze, the sound of waves and the screams of seagulls, the summer refreshing sea, beaches that invite for long walks. The place where we would drop the anchor. That is why the anchor is a symbol of Paul Hewitt watches and jewelry.

    • 2016 - opening of "LAIKS" jewelry & watch store in "SPICE" shopping center.

     

    2017

     

    • The beginning of cooperation with the watch brand RADO. Rado is an internationally famous brand known for innovative designs and revolutionary materials to create the world's most beautiful and reliable watches. Since its founding in Langnau, Switzerland, the Rado brand has been in many ways a pioneer in the world of watches, and its philosophy is still embodied in the slogan “If we can imagine it, then we can do it”.

    • The third LaiksWatches.lv Open 2017 golf tournament was held in cooperation with Ozo Golf Club.

     
    2018

     

    • The beginning of cooperation with MOVADO watch brand.
    • „Galerija Centrs". March 2018 - the opening of the jewelry & watch store "LAIKS" on the first floor of "Galerija Centrs" shopping center.
    • On October 25, the GRAND Hotel Kempinski hosted the presentation of the world's first Frederique Constant Hybrid Manufacture 3.0 collection. The new Frederique Constant Hybrid Manufacture 3.0 collection is powered by an hybrid manufacture movement. The watch is designed according to classical principles, but enhanced with 21st century technology. The collection combines the mechanics of Swiss manufacturers with the functions of smart watches.

    2019
     

    • March 23, 2019 - RIPPOL celebrated its 25th anniversary.
    • April 2019 – the opening of "LAIKS" jewelry & watch store in "Akropole" shopping center.
    • The beginning of cooperation with MIDO watch company. RIPPOL company has become the official distributor of MIDO watches in Latvia.
    • The beginning of cooperation with GARMIN PREMIUM watch company.


    2020

      
    • Frederique Constant Smartwatch Vitality: 4th revolutionary smartwatch model
